Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were quite minimalist but sufficient for a short stay, though the small electric heater didn't do much in chilly nights. The service was pleasant and welcoming, however, there were some issues with the facilities. The central location was a big plus, offering easy access to nearby attractions, but the dining options were underwhelming.
The hotel has a cool, modern rustic design in the rooms, but it didn't exactly match the photos we saw when booking. The service was a mix of nonchalant attitude amidst friendly and welcoming staff, with some issues like stained carpets and water-damaged moldings. The location was great for exploring the town, especially if you appreciate a hip yet rustic vibe. Although the dining was nothing to get excited about, the overall experience had its charm.
The hotel rooms were splendid with a convenient kitchenette, making our stay marvelous, although there was a strong chemical smell. The spare room furnishings, including a plywood table and high school-style chairs, were not the most appealing. Additionally, the proximity to the adjacent general store's noisy AC unit was a downside when we opened the window during the day.
